Delta Group Electronics, Inc., established in 1987, is a high-mix medium volume to low-mix medium quantity run electronics manufacturing services (EMS) provider recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing small businesses in the United States. The company provides cost-efficient, high-quality assembly of custom wiring harness, cable and turnkey electronic assemblies for its business partners throughout the southern half of the United States. Based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Delta Group also has assembly operations in Florida, Arkansas, Texas and southern California.

The company maintains an ISO9001/AS9100 quality certification at each facility; along with ISO13485 quality standard at the San Diego, California location. The company also maintains an annual ITAR registration and compliance program to include Distribution D capability through an approved DD2345.

Delta Group maintains a diversified customer base, serving customers in the defense, aerospace, telecommunications and capital equipment industries.

FINANCIAL STRENGTH & OWNERSHIP

In 1987, Delta Group Electronics was incorporated by a small group of investors related by long-term friendships. With the death of Steven Klein in 2002, the remaining investors committed to maintaining the company as a privately-owned, family business.  Since 2002, the company has pursued an active program to diversify its customer base and industry concentrations.  Through a series of acquisitions and internal growth, Delta Group now operates five facilities throughout the southern half of the United States.  The company maintains a strong financial position, evidenced a series of facility investments – construction of a new 37,000 square foot facility in Arkansas in 2011, expansion of the Florida operation by 10,000 square feet in 2014, and the acquisition and renovation of a 49,500 square foot facility in New Mexico in 2015.  During the same period, the company has invested more than $3 million for the equipment upgrades and replacements.

The senior management of Delta Group averages more than 15 years of experience in their respective areas of expertise. In addition, these individuals have been active participants in the leadership of the company for many years, averaging more than 10 years of employment at Delta Group.

HISTORY & MILESTONES

Delta Group Electronics, Inc. was founded in 1987 by a small group of investors that included Steven E. Klein and Harry C. Mueller. Mr. Klein served as President of the company from its inception until his death in 2002. Mr. Mueller has served as Chief Executive Officer throughout the life of the company, taking on the additional title of President in 2002. With its initial location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, the company has expanded through internal growth and acquisitions and currently maintains operations in Albuquerque (where the corporate headquarters are also located), San Diego, Dallas, Rockledge, Florida, and Fayetteville, Arkansas.

2. 1996 Acquired Quality Components, Inc. in Florida to establish Southeast Division.
3. 2000 Acquired Northstar Electronics, San Diego, California, to establish West Division.
4. 2001 Acquired On-Board Technology, Orlando, Florida; integrated into Southeast division.
5. 2001 Achieved IS 9001: 2000 Certification.

17. 2013 Texas facility relocated to updated 50,000 Sq. Ft. building.
18. 2014 Florida Facility 10,000 Sq. Ft. building expansion completed.
19. 2015 Delta Group Electronics, Inc. purchased a 49,500 sq. ft. commercial building in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
20. 2016 Delta Group Electronics, Inc. completed the renovation of a 49,500 sq. ft. facility located at 4521 Osuna Road NE in Albuquerque.
21. 2017 Delta Group Electronics Inc. Celebrates 30 years of Operation in January.
22. 2018 Delta Group Electronics Inc. hosts IPC training video production in New Mexico, Texas and Florida facilities.
23. 2019 Texas Facility introduces over-molding capability.
24. 2020 Texas Facility 10,500 Sq. Ft. production floor expansion.
