Delta Group Electronics’ Albuquerque Facility Earns NADCAP Registration

Delta Group Electronics, Inc. announced today that its New Mexico operation has received NADCAP certification for its Circuit Card Assemblies (AC7120:CCA) based upon an audit performed by the Performance Review Institute (PRI).

This recognition, in addition to the NADCAP certification received in October 2010 for the Cable and Harness operations (AC7121:CHA), assures all of the Delta Group Electronics, Inc. special processes are now certified.

The National Aerospace and Defense Contractors Accreditation Program (NADCAP) was developed in 1990 by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) to promote manufacturing practices across all aspects of air transportation and defense applications. The NADCAP process assures the manufacturing practices are in accordance with the industry applicable workmanship standards sufficient to meet the Aerospace and Defense classification requirements, e.g. JSTD-001 Class III.

Delta Group Electronics initiated the NADCAP certification process in 2009 as a result of a contractual requirement with one of its Albuquerque customers. After receiving notice of the NADCAP certification, Tod Cummins, Delta Group’s Corporate Quality Manager, commented that “The NADCAP qualification process exemplifies the ongoing  commitment of Delta Group Electronics to meet the manufacturing requirements of its customers. The Company’s quality management system now has achieved the AS9100, ITAR, ISO9001:2008 and ISO13485 registrations and we are excited to add the NADCAP Circuit Card Assembly certification.”
