Delta Group Electronics Increases Its Throughput with the Ersa ECOSELECT 2

Plymouth, WI — August 2015 — Kurtz Ersa North America, a leading supplier of electronics production equipment, today announced that Delta Group Electronics, Inc. has purchased and installed its ECOSELECT 2 Selective Soldering System at its Florida facility. The system is the optimal solution for small and medium scale production where flexibility is paramount.

“The introduction of the ECOSELECT 2 to Delta Group Electronics has made a major impact on our production capabilities,” said Jim Brownell, Manufacturing Engineer at Delta Group Electronics. “This system has allowed us to selectively solder boards that we were unable to process on our legacy equipment. With pre-process heaters, in-process heaters and dual solder pots we are able to be more accurate and repeatable in less time, which in turn, improves our throughput. This machine was the correct fit for our needs and has a great visual appearance on the production floor.”

The ECOSELECT 2 uses the same successful and proven selective soldering technology as the large Ersa VERSAFLOW systems without compromising quality or accuracy. The high-precision servo gantry system and electromagnetic pumping system, together with top- and bottom-side preheating, provide the highest capability and best repeatability. Additionally, the ECOSELECT 2‘s in- and off-line cell concept offers the best price/performance ratio and little space requirement for high-quality selective soldering. Additionally, it is a flexible solution for both first-time-users and manufacturers with small to medium series production.
